Licensing — all sales final
Every feature is free for 3 days so you can see what Broomkit finds on your Mac before you pay. Licence purchases are final. There are no refunds.
Do I need to pay to find out what I would get?
No. The first 3 days are free and need no account and no card. The full scan, the Disk Map, the large-and-old file finder, path browsing, Reclaim and the app uninstaller are all unlocked during the trial, so you can measure the result on your own Mac. After 3 days a licence is required to keep using the app.
No refunds
All licence purchases are final. We do not offer refunds, chargebacks by agreement, or “try Reclaim then return” windows.
That is why the trial withholds nothing: you can measure reclaimable space, review every path, actually reclaim it, and decide with your own numbers before checkout. Once you buy, the sale is complete.
Exception: if a payment was charged in error (duplicate charge) or the licence key was never delivered because of a processor failure, email hello@broomkit.com with your order reference. Those cases are billing corrections, not product refunds.
How the licences work
Every plan is a single payment. Nothing auto-renews and there is no subscription. You choose between a licence that is valid for one year and one that never expires.

A one-year licence simply stops unlocking Reclaim when the year is up; it does not bill you again, and you are never charged without choosing to buy again. Scanning continues to work for free either way.
A validated licence works offline for 14 days before it re-checks, so a flaky connection or a flight never locks you out of software you paid for.
Can I get a refund after buying?
No. All licence sales are final. Use the 3-day trial, which unlocks every feature, to evaluate Broomkit on your Mac before you purchase.
Will I be charged again automatically?
No. There is no subscription and no stored recurring payment. Both plans are single payments.
What happens when a 1-year licence expires?
The app locks and asks for a licence, the same as it does when a trial ends. Nothing you already reclaimed is affected, and renewing or buying a licence that never expires unlocks it again. A validated licence keeps working offline for 14 days, so a lapsed network connection is not the same as a lapsed licence.
Can I move a licence to a new Mac?
Yes. Deactivate it on the old Mac and activate it on the new one. A 1-Mac licence is active on one machine at a time, not permanently welded to the first one.
Is there a free trial?
Yes — 3 days, with every feature unlocked, including Reclaim and the uninstaller. After that a one-time licence is required to keep using the app. Sales are final.
Who is the merchant on my statement?
Dodo Payments, which acts as merchant of record for the sale. The software itself is published by DPR Software Labs OPC Private Limited.
